Getting the whole family together at one time is almost an impossibility. Our daughter, Laura, and her husband Paul, live in Albuquerque, NM., Kevin lives in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. Chad is up in Washington State. Shalyn, the youngest, left for Navy boot camp on 14 April 1998. (The one in the circle is our dog "Lucky").
 
This is a picture taken at the Navy Birthday Ball, October 1997 in San Diego. My Wife, Sharon and I with our youngest daughter, Shalyn. While at the Ball we introduced her to a friend of ours, Medal of Honor recipient Bob Bush. She wants to be a Hospital Corpsman.
